Christine and baritone Malachy Frame perform music from the reigns of Elizabeth I and II with five-part viol consort. England lost two of its most influential composers, William Byrd and Thomas Weelkes, 400 years ago. This concert will present some of their works, at the conclusion of this anniversary year, alongside George Benjamin’s ‘Upon Silence’ (1990). This concert is part of the Hampstead Collective series, and will take place at Hampstead Parish Church.
